"My name is Thomas Bressler. On October 11, 2009 a group of bikers from the Lancaster area saved my life. I am disabled and had a problem I was in eyesight of Route 125. The bikers were at the famous 3 1/2 mile straight section of the famous route doing their stunts. I lay there listening to them. The day was very cold and I checked my watched it was after 4:00 pm and I knew they would soon be heading for home. I could hear them coming in my direction and I was wearing a florecent green hat. I held it high and waved it as a signal for help. There must have been over a dozen passed and didn't see me signaling and the very last biker with his girl as a passenger passed last and she saw me and didn't know if I was just saying hello or I needed help. I could hear the biker coming back. He and his girl got off the bike and I told them I was desperate for help. I had gotten my pickup truck stuck in a mudhole around 8:30 in the morning I walk with a cane and must be on portable oxygen . Walking is at a minimum for me. I must have had to walk close to a mile and my portable oxygen ran out about half way there. I had to cross a stream and crawl a few embankments and couldn't crawl or walk another inch to where I lay waiting for someone to resue me. I prayed to God for help and he answered my prayers with the bikers. Thank You Bikers." Thomas Bressler, Donaldson, Pennsylvania
Thanks to the bikers from the Lancaster, PA area for your actions and concern!
